Much like the rich tapestry of cultures, geographies, and languages found in India, the CNCF landscape weaves together different experience levels, skill sets, and roles to form a unified ecosystem of contributors. Over the past five years, contributions to CNCF projects from the subcontinent have risen, positioning it among the top three contributing countries. India has also successfully hosted several large community events, including KCDs and Kubeday India.
In this keynote, Divya will explore the evolution of the Indian cloud native community by focusing on challenges faced by contributors from the region and the importance of fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued. Just as each region enhances India's diversity with its unique practices and culture, attendees will discover how contribution diversity is key to cloud native development. Through this keynote, they will also gain insights into how our panelists have made cloud native communities and practices ubiquitous - all while nurturing future generations of contributors.
